Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-03-01
Last updated: 2026-03-01
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Zenq website and any related services, software, and content we provide (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1) Who we are
The Service is provided by Zenq (operated by OSVČ Yevhenii Tsakh, IČO: 21271224, registered address: Karla Kryla 2679/7, 155 00, Praha 5 - Stodůlky, Czech Republic) (“Zenq”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Contact: support@zenq.io
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3) Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
4) Workspaces, members, and admins
The Service may allow you to create or join a workspace with multiple members (“Workspace”). A Workspace can have one or more members with an Admin role (“Workspace Admins”).
- Workspace Admins may manage the Workspace, including inviting/removing members, configuring settings, and managing billing and subscriptions (if enabled for that Workspace).
- If there are multiple Workspace Admins, each Admin is treated as authorized to act on behalf of the Workspace within the Service (for example, subscription management, requesting deletion, or changing settings).
- You are responsible for ensuring that Workspace roles are assigned appropriately and that you only invite people you trust.
5) The Service
Zenq is a workspace for managers to store notes, decisions, and next steps for direct reports and projects, and may include AI-assisted features.
We may change, improve, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We will try to provide reasonable notice when changes materially affect your use, but this may not always be possible.
6) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Upload, store, or share content you do not have the right to use
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others
- Transmit malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except to the extent permitted by law
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Scrape, crawl, or probe the Service except as permitted by us in writing
- Use the Service to build a competing product using non-public aspects of the Service
7) Your content
“Content” means text, files, links, and other materials you submit to the Service (including notes, documents, transcripts, action items, and other workspace data).
You retain ownership of your Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your Content only to the extent necessary to provide and maintain the Service, improve the Service, and keep it secure.
You are responsible for your Content and represent that you have all rights needed to submit it and to grant us the rights described in these Terms.
8) AI features
The Service may provide AI-generated outputs (for example: summaries, suggested agendas, suggested action items, and answers to questions). AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for informational purposes only.
You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them or sharing them. You agree not to use AI outputs as the sole basis for decisions that could cause harm to individuals or organizations.
9) Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
10) Data deletion and export
10.1 Account/workspace deletion
You may request deletion of your account and/or Workspace by contacting us via support chat or emailing support@zenq.io. If you are requesting deletion for a Workspace, the request must come from a Workspace Admin.
We may ask for verification to protect you and your Workspace. After deletion, some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period, and we may retain certain records where required or permitted by law.
10.2 Data export
Data export is not currently available. We may add export functionality in the future, but we do not guarantee that it will be provided by any specific date.
11) Paid plans, billing, and refunds
Some features may be offered under paid plans. If you purchase a subscription or other paid features:
- Prices, billing cycles, and included features will be shown at checkout or in the Service.
- You authorize us (and our payment provider) to charge the payment method you provide.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before renewal.
Billing provider
Payments may be processed by Paddle (our payment provider / merchant of record). Paddle may handle taxes, invoicing, and payment-related customer service as part of the checkout and billing experience.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled in accordance with Paddle’s Refund Policy. Buyers may request a refund within 14 days of the transaction date by contacting Paddle through its buyer support channels or by contacting us at support@zenq.io.
12) Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your use poses a security risk, if necessary to protect the Service or other users, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops. Some provisions of these Terms survive termination, including ownership, licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute terms.
13) Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services and they may have their own terms and policies.
14) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
15) Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZENQ WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY AMOUNTS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
16) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zenq from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
17) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
18) Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Courts located in Prague, Czech Republic will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
